About the role
Are you looking to build your career in residential construction? We're looking for a driven Project Manager (In Training) to support the production of our homes and communities. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing various stages of construction, trade coordination, and quality control, all while working side-by-side with experienced Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support assigned Project Manager(s) in managing new home construction from backfill to closing
- Monitor and manage progress of homes through various stages of production
- Maintain construction drawings, specifications, scopes, and project details
- Use On Location Schedule (OLS) and On Location Warranty (OLW) systems to perform tasks
- Complete construction checklists including Task Specific, 1st Handy, 2nd Handy, Move-In Ready, and PDI
- Coordinate with trade partners and manage lot-level schedules
- Conduct daily quality inspections to ensure Caivan standards are met
- Prepare for and support city inspections
- Perform regular safety checks and lead by example in maintaining a clean and safe job site
- Communicate issues and progress updates to Project Manager(s)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trades and site staff
- Perform other duties as required
You Will Bring:
- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in low-rise residential construction
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and processes
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Newstar (OLS, OLW), Dropbox, and other construction software
- Ability to plan and manage schedules under tight deadlines
- Comfortable conducting site inspections and using digital tools to track progress
- Willingness to attend weekly internal meetings and work across various construction sites
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
