About the role

Employee working location: In-person (Ancaster, ON)

Employment status: Co-op/summer Student (2 months)

In this role you will:

  • Respond to inquiries regarding the program assessing client eligibility, creating files in database and updating files as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the transportation program.
  • Answer telephone calls and redirect, and attend to service participant inquires.
  • Take requests from service participants and volunteers.
  • Provide reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Customer service experience in person and on the telephones is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
  • Self-starter with strong organization skills
  • Proven ability to be a supportive team member
  • A full valid G license is an asset

Working conditions:

  • The majority of work is performed in a friendly office environment that is clean and comfortable located in the Ancaster Branch of the Canadian Red Cross.
  • Hours of service are based on a 35-hour week Monday to Friday
  • Please note that is no relocation package for this position
