About the role

Description:
The Mountain Outfitter’s Coffee Shop Clerk is responsible for food & beverage & rental equipment payments. Our number one goal is to create and maintain a WOW experience for every guest that enters the store.

Essential Functions:

  • Continually strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
  • Preparation and dispensing of a wide variety of products, including soups, pastries, specialty coffees, beer & souvenirs etc.
  • Provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls.
  • Delivery of quality products on a consistent basis
  • Responsible for opening & closing duties related to store operation.
  • Operate a computer POS system and all related procedures.
  • Perform daily operational routines and all related procedures (merchandising, restocking, cleanliness, check list, etc.)
  • Maintain store inventory and all related paperwork, including ordering & receiving – maintaining stock & product rotation.
  • Adhere to all security procedures involving cash handling, theft, liability, and premises.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised for long periods.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all Panorama products and services.
  • Learn and demonstrate knowledge of sales training and related steps.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic towards Guests and peers
  • Must be legally able to serve alcohol in B.C.
  • High School
  • Previous food & beverage or retail experience / Serving it Right Certificate.
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Knowledgeable with various POS systems & Computer systems
  • Working on your feet in the store for long periods of time
