GOLFLAND Academy is located in Keswick, Ontario, a growing golf-friendly community where kids, adults, and seniors all share a passion for golf. We're looking for a passionate PGA Teaching Professional who can also support our indoor golf store operations.
Location GOLFLAND Academy, Keswick ON Posted 2025-07-14 Deadline 2025-08-31 Job Summary Join GOLFLAND Academy, a modern indoor golf facility designed for year-round play and practice. We're hiring a teaching pro who can offer golf lessons and work as a part-time or full-time store staff. Scheduling is flexible and can be adjusted based on store operation and lesson schedule. Responsibilities
- Provide professional one-on-one and group golf instruction to players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced
- Assess students' skills, provide feedback, and develop personalized improvement plans
- Utilize indoor simulator technology to enhance training experience and analyze swing data
- Ensure a positive, motivating, and safe learning environment
- Assist with scheduling lessons and maintaining accurate client records
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills at all times
- Stay up-to-date with the latest golf teaching methods and simulator technology
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the teaching area and equipment
Qualifications
- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada (preferred)
- Proven experience as a golf instructor or competitive player
- Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and swing mechanics
- Experience with golf simulators (e.g., TrackMan, GOLFZON, GNC.) is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation
- $18/hour base wage
- 80% commission on private lessons
- 80% commission on club fittings and retail sales
