You are often the first point of contact at Caesar’s Steak House whether it be over the phone or in-person, liaising with our customers, taking reservations and providing exceptional customer service. Our team is comprised of industry leading service experts who are approachable, friendly, energetic and passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences.
Evening shifts 4:30 PM to Close
Dress Code: Business Formal / Professional
Hiring for our Downtown location - 512 - 4 Avenue SW.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for answering and screening all incoming phone calls for and directing them to appropriate individual or department, and answering customer requests
- Ensure that proper information is given to all prospective customers regarding the restaurant (menu items, hours of operations, dress code, procedures, etc.)
- Courteously greet and welcome customers
- Knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus, including being able to explain the offerings
- Record and manage reservations on online reservation system according to policy
- Constant communication with Front of House Manager / Maitre'd on shift, on reservation changes, upcoming requests, any VIPs to attend and customer complaints
- Communicate with each guest leaving, and ask about their meal and visit
- Process deposits for reservations, gift card purchases and take-out orders
- Maintains the cleanliness and sanitization of the front lobby, reception area and coat check and ensure it is well stocked with supplies
- Maintain customer database on reservation system
- Manage coat check (tips are 100% to Reception team)
- Adhere to restaurant policy and procedures
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year or more related work experience
- Reservation system (Seven Rooms, Open Table)
- Squirrel Point of Sales
- Eigen payment terminals
- Eigen X-Dine - take out orders
KEY COMPETENCIES & SOFT SKILLS:
- Fluent in English
- Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile to provide unprecedented hospitality and customer service to our guests
- Excellent phone etiquette and communications skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with people in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Sell-motivated and ability to demonstrate good initiative
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to resolve problems using good judgement
- Must maintain a business formal / professional appearance
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
