Ensure sound due diligence and credit analysis principles are applied as you assess credit risk and confirm FCC’s risk appetite statement is being followed.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide an objective assessment on the quality and soundness of credit decisions made
  • Assess employees’ abilities to exercise sound credit judgement
  • Form conclusions based on observations and provide recommendations to close identified gaps
  • Find ways to enhance existing credit policy guidelines and processes, and report on these findings
  • Collaborate with other business units

What we’re looking for:

  • Organized multi-tasker who pays attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker who uses different perspectives to analyze situations
  • Proven analytical skills and understanding of credit risk and financial concepts
  • Problem-solver who remains composed while managing multiple priorities

What you’ll need:

  • Undergraduate degree in agricultural finance, business or commerce supplemented by at least five years of proven lending experience, including small commercial lending (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Bilingual French and English an Asset
