Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Parts and Warehouse Supervisor whose primary responsibility is to support and empower our Field Parts Team, ensuring they have the resources, tools, and coordination needed to represent Finning with excellence.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Field Parts Team, ensuring timely and accurate parts availability and logistics to meet customer and operational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Team to align on job priorities, parts forecasting, and service scheduling – ensuring seamless coordination without a reporting relationship.
  • Drive continuous improvement in warehouse process and field support strategy.
  • Complete leadership walkthroughs of the on-site warehouse.
  • Coordinate all Freight Forward and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments.
  • Asist the parts team with hose escalations and coordination of the HAB process.
  • Oversee Cycle Counts and inventory variances including Red Data (no locations).
  • Assist the parts team with Exchange Component Core Returns.
  • Collaborate and support the service team on site with all parts endeavours.
  • Lead the parts team in reviewing the back-order parts tracker and executing the Up-Down report.
  • Champion purchasing in the ARIBA system for sundries and supplies not associate with a work order.
  • Support the autonomous team with current parts projects and deliverables.
  • Support the part team and collaborate with the Finning Buyers to ensure escalations of Non-Caterpillar parts and Caterpillar parts.
  • Collaborate and support Regional Warehouse Services such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), On Site Finning Parts Support and Consignment Inventory.
  • Advocate for the Finning Safety culture and ensure the parts employees are completing Pre Task Assessments where required.
  • Approve high value customer returns.
  • Along with the parts team, coordinate all Core and Parts returns.
  • Collaborate and build a relationship with the customer warehousing team on site.
  • Conduct regular employee evaluations, providing constructive feedback and recognition.
  • Support employee career development, helping team members set and achieve professional goals.
  • Track and guide individual progress, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience in parts, logistics, or warehouse supervision—preferably in a heavy equipment or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining clear lines of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
