Inside Sales Specialist

Your Position & How You Will Contribute:
Based in York Region in a hybrid working environment – Reporting to the VP, Sales We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team at telMAX. This role involves engaging with potential and existing customers over the phone and through digital channels to promote our telecommunications products and services, identify customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a passion for sales. In this highly dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your career and within the organization.
Responsibilities & Key Duties include:
Customer Engagement:
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and other communication channels to connect with potential and existing customers.
- Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable telecommunications products and services.
Sales Execution:
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by promoting and selling telecommunications solutions, including internet, phone, and TV packages.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services to enhance the customer experience.
- Process orders, track sales, and ensure timely follow-up to close deals effectively.
Lead Management:
- Qualify leads generated through marketing campaigns and convert them into customers.
- Maintain a database of prospects and customers, updating records and documenting interactions in the CRM system.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the company’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitors.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and pricing of products and services to customers.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align efforts and optimize sales opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (telecommunications industry experience is a plus).
Experience:
- 2-5 years related experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
