Role overview:
As a Senior Appliance Sales Associate at SecondShop, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers as they shop for large appliances and electronics online. Whether it's answering questions via chatbot or phone, helping customers choose the right product, or ensuring a smooth delivery experience, you’ll play a key role in creating a high-touch, high-trust buying experience from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing:
- Engage directly with customers via online chat and phone to answer product questions, provide recommendations, and guide them through the buying process
- Support online sales by helping customers place orders and troubleshoot issues related to delivery, product specs, payments, or returns
- Track open conversations and ensure every customer interaction is followed through to resolution
- Collaborate with inventory and operations to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate stock availability
- Keep our CRM and customer records up to date with notes, tags, and order status
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and streamline sales processes
- Provide regular updates and insights to the broader team on common customer questions, issues, and buying trends
Who we are looking for:
- 3–5+ years in customer service, online sales, or sales support in e-commerce or consumer electronics/appliances
- A strong communicator who’s confident, clear, and empathetic, whether chatting online or speaking on the phone
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using live chat tools, CRM systems, and order tracking platforms
- Naturally organized and detail-oriented, you follow up, follow through, and keep everything running on track.
- A people-person who loves solving problems and helping customers make the right purchase
- Bonus: Knowledge of major appliance and consumer electronics categories
