Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Assist in prepping ingredients and setting up stations, following recipes and kitchen guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with your kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
- Monitor food stock and supplies, assisting with inventory management and minimizing waste.
- Work efficiently to meet kitchen demands, ensuring orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as required.
What You Bring to the Table
- Kitchen Experience: 1-2+ years' of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high-volume kitchen.
- Passion for Cooking: You love working in the kitchen and are excited to create consistently great dishes.
- Strong Attention to Detail: You take pride in presentation and ensuring each plate meets quality standards.
- Team-Oriented: You work well with others and are always ready to support your teammates when needed.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: You thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to Safety & Cleanliness: You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
