The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $67,200 - $88,200. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Distribution Centre Coordinator to join our Western Canada Parts Distribution Centre (WCPDC) team. This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the Operations Planning Team Lead while helping the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) Manager, Operations Manager, Operations Leaders, Inventory Coordinators, Operations Planning team, the National Parts Support Centre (NPSC) and Parts Supply. The selected candidate acts as liaison between the leadership team and logistics partners. The candidate will assist the Operations Planning Team Lead with summary analysis to aid Kaizen initiatives, pilot project implementation and report out to management. In addition, the successful incumbent will work to help the PDC Management Team with reporting and year-over-year evaluation of various KPIs, and will provide assistance to the Operations Planning team.

What You’ll be Doing:
Receiving Support
- Liaison between operations leadership team and parts supply & logistics to coordinate and schedule all inbound freight including 3PL/OSS transfers
- Interpret SPAO shipping reports to maintain steady inbound line volumes
- Track all inbound shipments to ensure adherence to scheduled arrival windows and carrier on time performance
- Coordinate receiving/shipping functions between PDC and 3PL Partners
- Prepare & communicate all required and relevant information to the PDC for unloading/receiving operations, including: ASNs, incoming backorders, lines, seal changes, delays etc.
- Maintain, schedule, and update all inbound deliveries and adjustments in EWM
- Monitor daily expedited shipments including FedEx, UPS, custom goods, and direct to dealer parts
- Document and submit all transport claims for PSCO, local vendor partners and Dealer Returns · Confirm receipt of daily dealer returns, communicating POD to carriers and investigating any discrepancies
Inventory Support
- Perform a wide range of duties investigating inventory by resolving inbound discrepancies and reporting the accuracy of local deliveries
- Investigate local inbound discrepancies, PSCO inbound discrepancies and communicate non-scans to TMNA team
- Parts Supply advises PDC OH requirements and balance inventory between the PDC and 3PL/OSS as required
PDC Support
- Administer PDC Work Wear Program (Clothing)
- Submit expense reports on behalf of the PDC staff (Safety Shoes)
- Scan and electronically file all paperwork to adhere to compliance regulations
- Order PDC Office and Dept 20 Supplies - Reports on usage & cost saving alternatives
- Serve as back-up during vacations and unplanned absences for the Operations Planning team
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting; parts operations experience is an asset
- University degree, college diploma or certificate in a relevant discipline is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel; intermediate technical qualifications in SharePoint, SAP WMS, BI, or related systems are assets
- Professional and customer service focused communication - verbal and written
- Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking and resolution oriented
- High level of personal initiative
- Proven team player with a focus on building relationships
- Aptitude to upkeep multiple and changing priorities
