Burlington Hyundai is looking for an Automotive Financial Services Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a positive team atmosphere. This position is an integral role at Burlington Hyundai, serving as the front-line service representative responsible for providing our customers with an exceptional experience while ensuring their financial service needs are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working directly with customers to explain and recommend financing options, extended warranties, aftermarket products and other options
- Locating competitive rates to encourage customer sales
- Processing applications for vehicle financing and assisting customers in getting approved
- Verifying that all paperwork is filled out in full, completed correctly, and filed properly
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions that have multiple program options and competitive rates
- Seeking out new programs that will benefit customers and encourage them to buy
- Ensuring strict compliance with OMVIC and all Ontario Motor Vehicle regulations
- Conduct and attend sales meetings as required
- Training the sales team on available financing and programs to ensure they promote these to customers
- Receive and/or generate reports as required, such as maintain a daily pending sheet and weekly/monthly F&I Sales and Product Summaries.
- Prepare proper and accurate documentation for the accounting office and customer, including the timely “cashing out” of deals as they are delivered to expedite funding
- Attend management meetings to discuss the productivity of the F&I Office as required
- Coordinate non-dealer-supplied after-market items with the service department
- Adopt and demonstrate effective time management
- Maintain Professional dress code at all times
- Communicate with and support other areas of the dealership. Support Manager and Sales Team in all areas of need, desking deals, assisting customers, supervising the sales floor, etc.
- Keep the switchboard apprised of your whereabouts at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks on time
- Take ownership of and successfully resolve problems as required
- Maintain a team atmosphere and positive floor culture at all times

Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years Automotive Financial Services experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to explain complex programs to customers
- Good knowledge of financial compliance requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist customers in finding the right vehicle that suits their financial situation
- Advanced negotiation skills to get the customer the best rates
- Strong sales and closing skills
- Automotive dealership experience
Additional Requirements
- Up-to-date OMVIC license
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Saturdays are required.
