About the role

A role as a Product Owner in the Cards team at National Bank means acting as an orchestrator of the execution strategy of projects ensuring the end-to-end delivery (from the experience to the back end) of business capabilities that will be redefined in whole or in part, through the evolution of the credit card ecosystem: Eco Evo Program. It means helping to accelerate the work of transforming the card experience for customers and employees. Your job:

  • Slice and sequence a target vision to maximize value delivery by taking into account the interdependencies with the sectors which includes: Building and managing the product backlog

  • Prioritize delivery activities according to the needs of users while taking into consideration, the customer first, IT constraints, and the impact on internal and external partners

  • Be accountable for the delivery of initiatives and contribute to the achievement of the roadmap for the development of solutions.

  • Promote good change management sequenced and integrated in a 360° way.

  • Continuously make improvements and fixes to the product to improve the experience to meet current and future needs.

  • Engage and keep stakeholders at all levels informed about the progress of the initiative and the status of the solution, effectively sharing the product vision and complex situations.

Your team

The Cards business is a dynamic and passionate team of 50 experts.es who work in an agile, proactive and collaborative way to seize opportunities and continuously improve processes. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will be part of a team of POs and advisors. Access to colleagues with different expertise, experiences and diverse profiles enriches your development from all points of view.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering solutions as a Product Owner (PO)
  • Experience in agile projects
  • Knowledge of the banking product domain
  • Ability to work in Agile mode: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and deliver without having all the specifications
  • Influential leadership and excellent multidisciplinary team player
  • Ability to maximize business value for the client and the organization
  • Understanding of technical concepts and ability to explain them in simple terms
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR Industry-related master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience
