About the role
Job Description Job Title: General Labourer - Materials
Job Summary Perform a variety of production or materials tasks including loading/unloading material, transporting parts, packaging and sorting raw material of finished product.
Responsibility Review received material and place in the appropriate warehouse bin location
Update warehouse location per received material
Unload and load parts (small & medium) from the warehouse to the applicable line (Paint, Weld or Assembly)
Load and unload parts from the Materials Train to the applicable assembly line
Use and operate materials tugger train for parts delivery around plant in ManuX
Academic/Educational Requirements Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing or equivalent working environment
Ability to use basic hand tools, painting tools, and measuring tools
Certification in MEWP (3a) – comfortable working at heights (in various roles)
Attend training as required
Computer knowledge (an asset)
Required Skills/Experience Ability to work in fast paced environment
Previous Manufacturing or Warehousing experience
Comfortable working at heights
Self-motivated
