Nature & Scope:
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Cleaning, the Cleaner will work as part of a team that will consistently maintain a high level of cleanliness within the facility.
Responsibilities:

Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned as per established protocols, monitoring all areas by walking throughout the facility regularly
-
Know, follow and promote all established procedures and safety standards
-
Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services
-
Ensure good relations with YMCA staff, guests and the public
-
Lift and carry supplies weighing up to 40 lbs (18kg) as necessary
Qualifications:
-
Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) including Vulnerable Sector Check completed not more than 120 days prior to date of hire, with results acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario

Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
