We’re currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Welland team and help us build what really matters!

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Full-Time, Permanent
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives sales orders from customers, in-person, by phone, email and/or via sales representative. Enters all information required for order picking into the system.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supplies them with relevant information, providing alternatives and suggestions where appropriate.
• Performs follow-up with customers for additional details and/or to give them the availability of special products and/or replacements.
• Contacts suppliers for pricing and availability of special products as required.
• Provides small quotes for customers using the computer system as needed.
• Make regular phone calls to specific customers when required.
• Transcribes all non-stock material for the purchasing dept. to order the material.
• Performs follow-ups on direct shipments from suppliers to customers to ensure billing to the customer is timely.
• Executes all other duties required by the position and by the immediate supervisor.

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience related to Inside Sales, preferably in a wholesale environment
• Good working knowledge of plumbing and/or heating supply
• Previous warehouse experience, preferred
• Customer-focused, good interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication in English
• Previous experience with AS400 software, an asset
• Good mathematical knowledge
• Ability to produce precise work under pressure
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving
