The Facility Services Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and tidiness of the facility. This includes cleaning floors, restrooms, workspaces, and common areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

What will your job involve?

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors in offices, hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and dispensers.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools.
  • Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, countertops, and furniture.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and break areas (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
  • Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures) to supervisor promptly.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Secure cleaning equipment and supplies at the end of each shift.
  • Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., carpet shampooing, floor waxing)

What are we looking for?

  • Someone with a can-do attitude... experience in janitorial or cleaning services is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
  • Flexibility to work the shift 5:00am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri
