Job Title: Part-Time Supply After School Care Educator
Location: Laureate College(1921 Snake Rd, Burlington)
Position Type: Part-Time, On-Call Supply
Hours: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday, based on need)
Wage: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our After School Care team as Part-Time Supply Educators. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about working with children and providing a safe, engaging after-school environment. The Supply Educator provides support to the program during staff absences, programming breaks, and peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in picking up children from their school and supporting safe transport back to campus.
- Support Educators in the classroom with daily activities and programming.
- Provide coverage for programming, staff breaks, absences, and/or parent conferences as needed.
- Answer, respond to, and appropriately direct phone calls from parents/guardians; record and relay messages as required.
- Accompany students to their parents/guardians upon arrival for pick-up at campus.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Leader, Coordinator, and Director.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
- Minimum Class G license required.
- Access to a vehicle is preferred.
