About the role
Park Paving Ltd. is a locally owned and operated company with over 50 years of experience in road construction. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Asphalt Plant Groundperson to join our team for the 2025 construction season. As an Asphalt Plant Groundperson, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and safe operation of the asphalt plant.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the maintenance and repair of asphalt plant equipment and machinery
- Monitoring and inspecting equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Performing general labor tasks, including material handling and clean-up
- Assisting with asphalt production and quality control
- Operating equipment, such as man lift and loader, as needed
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience in the asphalt industry or a similar field is preferred but not required. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Requirements
* General labor experience, preferably in a construction or similar industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work night shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay Scale: Starting wage $20+ depending on experience
