You support our team as
Purchaser (f/m/d) Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing strategies to meet supply needs, while optimizing costs and inventory levels
- Identify and select suppliers by evaluating price, quality, and delivery targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as R&D, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to align on procurement needs and goals
- Strengthen supply chain infrastructure by building strong relationships with key suppliers
- Maintain and update purchasing processes to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Establish procurement KPIs and target values to align with company goals and customer requirements
- Prepare reports related to procurement activities to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or materials planning
- Experience in the chemical or food industry is an asset
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in French and English, with strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously
