The Holiday Inn Express - Candlewood Suites West Edmonton is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! As the first IHG dual property in Canada, we offer a unique opportunity to work for two hotels under one roof!

What you can expect!

• Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 Room Attendants/10 Houseperson
• Assist in the training of all housekeeping and housepersons staff
• Assist with cleaning Guest Rooms and Common Areas
• Inspect Guest Rooms and Common Areas
• Inspect Housekeeping Supplies and PPE equipment
• Be sure all team members are following Hotel Policies and Procedures
• Assisting with any small Maintenance Requests
• Amending Schedule for adequate staff are scheduled for following days
• Filling out Documented Inspection/Deep Cleaning paperwork
• Communicate Room Discrepancies to Maintenance Department
• Communicate Room Status to Front Desk
• Handle guest Requests/Concerns/Complaints
• Assisting in Breakfast Department

What we expect from you!

• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisor/lead experience
• Previous Hotel Leadership experience is an asset
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Determination to improve not only oneself but a team
• Able to work with minimal to no supervision
• Attention to Detail, drive to improve
• Friendly, approachable, considerate, willing to help, team player
• Able to work well under pressure, stay calm, and multi task
• Responsible, organized, punctual, neat in appearance
• Able to stand/walk/bend/move continuously throughout shift
