JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Senior Production Manager, the Evening Production Manager is responsible for the organization and the communication of orders for the company. The Production Coordinator must ensure that they follow all appropriate regulations during the ordering process.

Major Responsibilities
-
Create production sheets and weekly forecasts of what is to be produced;
-
Inventory control: communicate and order raw material from injection plants according to orders on hand;
-
Analyse possible discrepancies between meat requested and meat received;
-
Follow all HACCP/SQF regulations and guidelines;
-
Coordinate with the QA department to ensure all country product safety codes are followed when producing or sending products internationally;
-
Investigate reasons for orders that have not been shipped and take proper corrective action;
-
Track, analyze and communicate shipping and receiving requirements to contracted shipping companies, shipment delivery areas, and contracted shipping company personnel;
-
Participate in and adhere to all Health & Safety policies and regulations;
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Experience
- College diploma in Business Administration or related training (or combination of experience and training);
- Five (5) years of related experience;
- Extensive knowledge of the food industry;
- Knowledge of HACCP/SQF or ISO regulations is an asset;
- Good judgment, team player, and autonomy;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AS4000;
- Bilingualism (French and English) preferred.
