Reports to: Bar Manager

Status: Full-Time/Part-Time

Salary: $17.20 Per Hour + gratuities

This is a fast-paced hospitality venue and we are seeking someone who learns quickly, independently and can provide a great customer experience.

Our ideal candidates are enthusiastic individuals that possess elevated hospitality experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients
• Access customer need and preferences; make recommendations
• Interact with customers, take orders, and upsell while nurturing an excellent guest experience
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
• Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in our manual to keep drink costs at a minimum
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Adapt to new environments and grasp venue offerings quickly
• Ensure the bar is organized and stocked in accordance with our venue guidelines
• Keep the area clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing storage areas, and emptying the garbage
• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining-room always satisfied

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience working as a Bartender is required
• Previous experience in a high volume restaurant or bar is required
• Classic cocktail knowledge is preferred
• Wine and beer knowledge an asset
• Smart Serve required – comply with all regulations
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skill
• Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates
