About the role

ElderCare Edmonton Society for Adult Day Programs invites applications from qualified consultants/facilitators to support the development of a new strategic plan.

Background : Founded in 1980, ElderCare Edmonton is a non-profit organization that supports

adults and their caregivers through recreational adult day programs. Funded for adults living

independently in the community, our social/recreation day programs set us apart from other

medical-based programs in the Edmonton region. Directed by a small volunteer board of

directors, we are committed to providing meaningful living experiences and promoting

independence and quality of life for our clients and their caregivers. In support of our purpose,

we believe that strategic planning is crucial for the growth and sustainability of our

organization. The strategic planning session is scheduled to take place on either October 25,

2025 or November 1, 2025, to accommodate the availability of our volunteer board members.

The session will be conducted in person at our head office at the Jerry Forbes Centre, 12122 68

St, Edmonton.

The objectives of the strategic planning session are as follows:

  • Facilitate the development of a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with our organization's vision, mission, and values.
  • Engage board members and leadership staff in a collaborative process to identify opportunities, challenges, and priorities.
  • Define clear and measurable goals and objectives to enhance our programs and services.

All details, including proposal submission and evaluation criteria are available on our website: https://eldercareedmonton.net/careers
