This hybrid position (3 days onsite in Richmond Hill, ON) offers the chance to work behind the scenes with a stable, respectful finance team making an impact across different associations.

🔎 What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Staff Accountant , you’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, focusing on both AP and AR , while supporting the financial operations of multiple associations. This is a steady, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys consistency, deadlines, and clean books.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing internal and external financial statements using Sage 50
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping
- Performing bank reconciliations and HST filings
- Handling AR (invoicing, payment collection, data entry)
- Managing AP (invoice processing, payment, allocation)
- Supporting annual audits
- Accounting for events-related revenues/expenses (PayPal/Constant Contact)
- Reception coverage (occasionally)
- Assisting with general financial tasks and ad-hoc duties
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
We’re recruiting a Staff Accountant with the following:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Commerce
- 2–3+ years of experience in accounting, including both AP and AR
- Sage 50 proficiency is a must
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational habits
- Reliable, self-managed, and deadline-driven
- Someone looking for long-term stability , not short-term career hopping
