About the role

This is an ideal opportunity for an Adult Nurse Practitioner interested in working with vulnerable populations, addictions medicine, and youth. This is a collaborative position within the Cowichan Primary Care Network.

As well as working at the Cowichan Wellness Recovery Centre and the Overdose Prevention Site, additional service sites include patient homes and MHSU housing sites in Cowichan.

There are no after-hours or on-call expectations in this service.

This is a 1.0 FTE NP episodic group contract; thus, the hours can be flexible according to provider availability.

Full licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

Experience working with vulnerable populations, addictions medicine, and youth preferred.
