About the role
True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for energetic individuals to join the 2025-2026 Flight Squadron (Promo Team).
This co-ed team performs a wide range of important duties to ensure the delivery of a superior fan experience at Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose home games. The Flight Squadron is responsible for executing various in-game elements including promotions, on-ice activations, giveaways, engaging fans, and more!
This part-time term position runs from September 1st, 2025 – June 30th, 2026.
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, August 5th.

What to expect in this role:
- Serve as Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose brand ambassadors during home games.
- Execute on-ice and in crowd promotions.
- Lead cheers, crowd chants, and other methods of fan engagement.
- Distribute game promotional items and prizes.
- Execute activations on the ice.
- Be part of a collaborative, creative, and energetic team.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
- Must be outgoing, positive, and have an energetic personality with a fan first mentality.
- Comfortable working with large crowds in a loud, fun, and dynamic environment.
- Well organized, good attention to detail, and strong ability to follow-up.
- Team oriented individual who has the ability to work in a group atmosphere.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to exhibit discretion and confidentiality as required.
- Must be flexible and adaptable.
- Available for a minimum of 75% of Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose home games
- Ability to skate is valued.
- Basic knowledge of hockey.
- Requirement to stand and walk for long periods on concrete surfaces.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs., and regularly to lift 5 lbs.
- Age Requirement: 18+
- If selected, participants will be required to attend an in-person audition on August 11th or 12th at 6:30pm (Doors will open at 6:00pm).
