About the role

Location: Multiple Locations (Hybrid: at least once a week at Head Office, Wembley, plus regular travel to stores across London) Contract: Fixed-term contract (maternity cover) 8 months, Sept 2025 – April 2026 Salary: £40,000 (pro rata) Position: Marketing and Communications Manager Employer: Traid Reporting to: Acting Brand Lead (Consultant)Apply The Role :We’re looking for a skilled and energetic Marketing & Communications Manager to deliver campaigns and communications that grow awareness, deepen engagement, and drive action. You’ll lead the day-to-day planning and execution of marketing projects across digital, print, PR, and in-store channels.Working closely with the acting Brand Lead/Consultant, you’ll support colleagues across the charity and manage one direct report. This role suits someone who is hands-on, organised, creatively minded, and comfortable juggling priorities in a collaborative environment.Traid is a London living wage employer who loves to promote staff to senior positions from within. Find out more about Traid here . Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns across Traid’s core areas: retail, donation services, and global impact.
  • Oversee and create engaging content across social media, email, website, and print, ensuring consistency with Traid’s tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns, including Meta Ads and Google Ad Grants.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and organic reach.
  • Engage with press and influencers to help raise the profile of Traid and secure positive media coverage.
  • Develop and deliver a calendar of in-store events to increase footfall and community engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Retail, Partnerships, Home Collections and Logistics to ensure unified messaging and campaign alignment.
  • Work with external creatives, agencies and suppliers, including designers, photographers and printers.
  • Ensure performance metrics and marketing impact are clearly tracked and communicated.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager

Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional project manager with good experience in multi channel campaign delivery
  • Strong background in marketing and communications (fashion or charity sector preferred)
  • Be willing to be hands on with all aspects of campaign delivery – from events set up to in-store installations.
  • Good eye for visuals and storytelling across formats.
  • Experience using software such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, and WordPress, etc.
  • Exeprience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta insights, Hotjar etc.
  • Excellent organisational and collaborative skills.
  • Passionate about second-hand clothing and a strong interest in fashion and the fashion industry
