Position Summary

Operating vehicles requiring a "DZ" license and truck-mounted lift truck certification, you'll ensure timely deliveries while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining vehicle safety. **Key Responsibilities:**Customer Service Excellence:
- Warmly greet customers and provide first-class service throughout the delivery process.
- Understand and meet customer needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
- Operate DZ and G licensed vehicles and truck-mounted lift trucks to make deliveries throughout Southwestern Ontario.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and lift trucks, documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment is in place.
Delivery Operations:
- Safely load and unload the vehicle, adhering to weight restrictions and using lifting devices as needed.
- Operate the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, following all company and road rules.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all deliveries are accompanied by invoices and signed for by contractors or customers.
- Collect COD orders and safely handle payment until returned to the store.
- Maintain up-to-date driver's license and meet MTO requirements for the vehicle.
Safety and Training:
- Report accidents, infractions, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Comply with Moffatt and Powell policies and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Train and mentor delivery helpers effectively.
Vehicle Maintenance and Compliance:
- Keep the vehicle clean inside and out at all times.
- Report vehicle violations and changes in license status promptly.
General Duties:
- Assist with general labor duties as needed.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
