As a Senior Accounting Advisor in Banking products, you must offer solid expertise in your field of activity and influence decisions and orientations based on business objectives and project needs.
Your job
- Act as an expert in accounting for the Bank's savings products (deposits) or credit (loans)
- Design and implement procedures to integrate financial data into the SAP system
- Monitor the quality and integrity of balance sheet items and results related to banking products
- Develop, implement, monitor and control tools and work processes
- Make recommendations to optimise accounting processing and the quality of financial information in order to support several of the Bank's critical processes
- Analyze financial data, investigate and explain discrepancies while making the necessary corrections
Your team
You are part of a multidisciplinary team involved in a large-scale project in the accounting sector. The team's mission is to ensure that banking products are properly accounted for, ensure the integrity of financial information and implement solutions to support financial analysis and produce various reports.
We favour a variety of forms of continuous learning to enhance your development, including on-the-job learning, training content and working with colleagues with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
Prerequisite
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
- CPA accounting designation
- Superior analytical skills
- Advanced mastery of Excel
- Strong interest in project-based work
- Profile focused on collocation and teamwork
- Strong communication and basic skills
- Comfortable in a complex and changing environment
- Knowledge of SAP software, an asset
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
