Raise is currently hiring a Senior Release Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Description The Senior Release Analyst is responsible for executing against the company's Release Management framework, and associated processes and procedures in support of continuously delivering releases from the planning phase to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination of release management activities for the OneStop platform.
- Work with deployment team to ensure successful deployment of the deliverables to the production and non-production environments.
- Maintain and control risks for the duration of the release cycle to ensure a well-organized and successful deployment.
- Assist in the identification of areas for improvement/optimization in release management to drive continuous improvement and minimize risk to the production and non-production environments
- Create and maintain process and quality control documents across the release and deployment practice area.
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of previous release and/or project management/change management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
- 3+ years of experience in the Alberta Oil and Gas industry and/or Regulatory environment preferred
- Hands on experience with AzureDevOps and CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., , ADO).
- Experience with ServiceNow

- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Must possess strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles.
- Flexible, must be able to change priorities quickly, focus on new ones without distraction, able to deal with conflict and work under pressure to meet deliverable dates/timeline
