The Shipper and Receiver is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely customer deliveries.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders
- Accurately label, store, and record received goods in the inventory system
- Prepare orders for shipping: picking, packing, labeling, and staging
- Create shipping documentation (e.g., waybills, bills of lading)
- Coordinate with couriers and carriers for outbound shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area
- Operate pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all safety and workplace procedures
- Understanding of aviation regulations and compliance
- Working and assisting QA with documentations and product flow
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Director, Supply Chain
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with AS9100, FOD control, and export compliance is highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy (email, inventory systems, etc.)
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

Pay: From $47,578.00 per year
