As we continue to expand our presence across North America, we are seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Market Development to help drive the next phase of our growth. Your Opportunity Reporting directly to the President, you will lead the development of new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing strategic customers throughout Canada and the United States. This is far more than a traditional sales position. You will play a strategic role in expanding Tundra's market presence, identifying new growth opportunities, supporting product development initiatives, and building long-term partnerships with key players throughout the trucking industry. Your primary markets will include: Heavy-duty truck OEMs Truck dealerships Heavy-duty parts distribution networks National and regional truck fleets Commercial vehicle upfitters Truck equipment manufacturers Independent sales representative agencies Key Responsibilities Market Development Develop and execute strategies to expand Tundra's presence across North America. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Open and develop strategic customer accounts. Build long-term partnerships with key industry stakeholders. Analyze market trends and identify emerging opportunities. Strategic Account Management Manage relationships with major customers throughout Canada and the United States. Develop growth plans for key accounts. Conduct executive-level sales presentations. Negotiate commercial agreements. Deliver exceptional customer support throughout the sales cycle. Distribution Network Development Strengthen relationships with truck dealerships and parts distributors. Support and expand Tundra's independent sales representative network. Assist distribution partners with training and business development initiatives. Identify opportunities to increase product penetration within existing channels. OEM Business Development Develop relationships with heavy-duty truck manufacturers. Participate in OEM qualification and product integration projects. Work closely with engineering and procurement teams. Support long-term OEM development initiatives. Product Development Support Gather customer feedback and market intelligence. Identify opportunities for new products and product improvements. Collaborate with engineering to ensure future products align with market needs. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Industry Representation Represent Tundra at major trade shows and industry events. Travel throughout North America to meet customers and partners. Promote Tundra's reputation for quality, innovation, and technical excellence. What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced business development professional who enjoys building lasting relationships and creating long-term growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have: A proven track record in business development and strategic sales. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities. An entrepreneurial mindset. Strong organizational and project management skills. The ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A results-oriented approach focused on long-term customer success. Qualifications Demonstrated success in business development within the heavy-duty trucking or commercial vehicle industry. Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales. Experience within the heavy-duty trucking, commercial vehicle, transportation, or truck equipment industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of truck OEMs, dealership networks, heavy-duty parts distribution, or commercial fleets is considered a significant asset. Experience managing strategic accounts across Canada and the United States. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French is considered an asset. Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America. Valid driver's license. Valid passport.
