The Canadian market is particularly strong in specialist subject areas, including law and medicine. Our experienced StudyIn Canada team provides expert guidance and a range of enhanced and premium services designed to support students applying to these highly competitive programmes. About The Role The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading all in-market marketing activity for the StudyIn Canada operation, driving commercial performance, building local demand and strengthening the StudyIn brand across the Canadian market. Working closely with the StudyIn Canada Country Manager, Sales Managers and the Global Marketing team, the role is accountable for delivering high-quality student leads, supporting branch performance and increasing marketing contribution to enrolments. Acting as the commercial marketing lead for StudyIn Canada, the role translates global strategy into locally relevant marketing that delivers commercial results. The Marketing Manager is expected to use deep customer, competitor and market insight to adapt global campaigns, messaging, creative assets and channel plans for the Canadian market, operating within agreed brand guidelines while retaining the autonomy to determine the most effective local approach. Key Responsibilities Commercial Planning & Performance Own local marketing performance against student, revenue and commercial targets. Develop the annual country marketing plan aligned to commercial priorities. Identify opportunities to increase demand, conversion and market share. Report marketing performance and ROI. Work alongside the Country Director to develop market growth strategies, annual business plans and commercial priorities. Local Demand Generation Plan and execute integrated local marketing campaigns. Deliver local activation across schools, events, partnerships and community engagement. Work with Global Growth Marketing to optimise paid campaigns. Drive destination diversification. Provide market insight, customer feedback and competitor intelligence to shape global marketing strategy, campaign development and proposition evolution. Branch Marketing & Sales Enablement Partner with Branch Managers to identify local growth opportunities. Build local marketing plans for every branch. Support counsellors with campaigns, events and marketing materials. Ensure marketing activity directly supports sales conversion. Attend regular sales and branch performance reviews, identifying marketing actions to improve local performance. Events & Partnerships Lead local events strategy. Maximise university participation. Build relationships with schools, corporate partners, community organisations, alumni and local influencers to increase awareness and demand. Identify local partnership opportunities. Brand & Local Market Activation Champion consistent StudyIn brand execution across every local customer touchpoint. Adapt global StudyIn campaigns, messaging, creative assets and marketing materials to maximise relevance and effectiveness within the Canadian market. Apply sound commercial judgement to balance global brand consistency with local customer needs, cultural context and market opportunities. Develop locally relevant campaigns, content, PR, social media and student stories that strengthen awareness, engagement and conversion. Identify where global assets or campaigns require adaptation and work with central marketing teams to develop stronger locally effective solutions. Ensure all local marketing activity supports the positioning, proposition and commercial priorities of StudyIn Canada. Marketing Operations Manage local marketing budget. Track campaign performance. Maintain CRM discipline. Ensure timely reporting. Manage local marketing budgets, ensuring investment is prioritised towards the highest commercial return. Customer Insight & Market Intelligence Develop a strong understanding of local student behaviour, customer needs, market trends and competitor activity. Use customer insight and performance data to shape StudyIn Canada’s marketing plans and improve commercial effectiveness. Influence the evolution of StudyIn’s global campaigns, assets and propositions by providing evidence and insight from the Canadian market. Share local market learning and best practice across the wider StudyIn marketing organisation. Leadership & Collaboration Coach and develop local marketing staff. Manage agencies. Build collaboration across country teams. Foster close collaboration between country marketing teams and central marketing functions.
