THE COMPANY New Metric Media is an award-winning entertainment studio specializing in building comedy brands across TV production, live entertainment, distribution and licensing. New Metric is also recognized for extending its brands beyond the screen through innovative social content, live entertainment, consumer products, licensing and fan experiences. THE ROLE New Metric Media is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, 12-month contract, with the potential to transition to a permanent position. This is a hands-on role supporting the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across New Metric Media and our portfolio of entertainment brands. From campaigns and social content to events, partnerships, merchandise and other fan-facing initiatives, you'll help keep projects organized and moving from idea through execution. You’re basically the traffic hub, all requests, asset delivery, schedules, communications go through you so you have to be on top of the details and organized to ensure all stakeholders, internal and external have what they need, when they need it and are getting ahead of any unforeseen issues that risk derailing the flow. The ideal candidate is someone who loves entertainment and pop culture, is highly organized. You're proactive, resourceful and excited to work across a variety of projects in a fast-moving creative environment. You'll work closely with the Marketing team and collaborate with teams across the company, as well as external partners, vendors and agencies. WHAT YOU'LL DO Support the planning, coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across New Metric Media and our content brands. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, approvals and marketing assets to help keep initiatives on track. Support social media initiatives, including content planning, asset coordination, scheduling and community engagement. Assist with the development and execution of marketing materials, presentations, promotional assets and other brand collateral. Coordinate creative assets, including organizing files, maintaining asset libraries and ensuring teams and partners have the materials they need. Support the execution of live events, activations, partnerships, promotions and fan experiences. Assist with merchandise and licensing initiatives, including coordinating assets, approvals and promotional support. Help coordinate with external partners, agencies, vendors, broadcasters and other stakeholders on marketing initiatives. Conduct research on audience trends, competitors, cultural moments and emerging marketing opportunities. Track campaign and social performance and assist with compiling results and insights. Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers and other team resources. Support updates to New Metric Media's websites and other digital properties as needed. Assist with administrative and logistical needs related to marketing projects, including meetings, shipping, invoices and vendor coordination. Stay current on entertainment, social media, pop culture and emerging marketing trends. Provide support across the Marketing team and take on special projects as needed. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 1–3 years of experience in marketing, media, entertainment, advertising, communications or a related field. A genuine passion for television, comedy, entertainment and pop culture. Strong organizational and project-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong creative instincts and an interest in brand building and audience engagement. Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other creative tools is an asset. Comfortable working with Google Workspace and other project-management and collaboration tools. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines at the same time. A proactive approach — you're comfortable taking initiative, asking questions and figuring things out. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and external partners. Receptive to feedback and comfortable adapting as priorities change. A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in experimenting with new ideas and approaches. Experience in entertainment, film/TV, media, sports, music or another fan-driven industry is an asset, but not required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is excited to learn, contribute and help bring New Metric's brands and marketing ideas to life. Location This is an in office role based in Downtown Toronto. This role is expected to be physically in office 4 days per week.
