They are responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of counselling services of children, youth, adults and their families with the goal of restoring mental health and/or supporting clients to learn skills to manage their illness. The Mental Health Therapist provides a wide range of mental health services to children, youth, adults, and their families. They are responsible for planning and delivering counseling services aimed at restoring mental health and supporting clients in managing their illnesses.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in a Human Services field acceptable to the employer and be registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body. Applicants are also required to provide a valid Criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector search.
