With a group underwriting team of over 60 professionals spanning Quebec, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada, this is an organization where experienced underwriters are valued, supported, and given real room to grow. As a Senior Group Underwriter, you will be a core member of a skilled and collaborative pricing team, working across both renewals and new business for groups that include large strategic accounts. You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, contribute to the development of junior colleagues, and build relationships across the broader business including Sales and Business Development. What You'll Be Doing Price new business proposals and renewal accounts, including benefit modification requests Draft financial agreements and prepare associated financial reports Negotiate files with group insurance advisors and, when required, participate in client-facing discussions alongside advisors Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues across departments Contribute to the ongoing training and development of junior and intermediate underwriters Manage a varied, fast-paced workload with multiple priorities and deadlines What You Bring Post-secondary degree in business administration, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or finance 5 to 10 years of experience in group insurance pricing and underwriting Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Sharp analytical skills with strong reasoning and sound judgment Effective negotiator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines in a dynamic environment Bilingualism in French and English is required

Requirements
