Title: Transportation Customs Coordinator Location: Calgary, AB T4A OE2 Duration: 12 months, extension/conversion likely Pay range: $20-$22 per hour Vacancy Status: This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Customs Coordinator to join one of our top retail client's Transportation team in Calgary, Alberta. This individual will play a key role in customs compliance and shipment documentation, ensuring freight moving between Canada and the United States is processed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating Proof of Delivery (POD) reconciliation, preparing customs documentation, supporting broker clearances, and maintaining compliance with border regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment, and has experience supporting customs, logistics, or fleet operations. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, customs, fleet operations, or a related field -Knowledge of customs documentation, broker clearance processes, cross-border transportation, T&E bonds, customs compliance requirements, and border regulations -Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing, reconciling, and processing shipment documentation -Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -Experience using BorderConnect to create and transmit ACE/ACI documentation -Experience with transportation and fleet management systems such as PC Miler, Trimble/TruckMate, or Samsara Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist with in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
