Shop Manager - Relocation Opportunity to Fort McMurray, AB

Diversified Transportation is seeking a Shop Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our Fort McMurray location.

This is a senior leadership opportunity suited for an experienced professional who can balance people leadership, operational oversight, and performance accountability across multiple service areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of fleet operations in a stable, high-volume environment with consistent workflow. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required based on operational needs.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Providing leadership and direction to maintenance teams across multiple locations Driving operational consistency, efficiency, and service standards Supporting workforce planning, coaching, and performance management Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance requirements Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support operational priorities Overseeing resource allocation, workflow, and overall shop performance

What We Are Looking For

Proven leadership experience in a maintenance, fleet, or operational environment Strong ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive results Experience within transportation, logistics, or heavy equipment environments is an asset Mechanical or trade background (e.g., Heavy Equipment Technician) or HET certification is considered an asset Ability to lead technical teams with credibility and sound operational judgment
