Experienced Butcher – Georgetown, ONPosition Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Butcher to join a meat processing facility in Georgetown, Ontario. This is a full-time, on-site position for individuals with experience in meat cutting, trimming, deboning, and processing. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and workplace cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various meat products according to production specifications and quality standards. Operate knives and meat-processing equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect products to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with sanitation and hygiene standards. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets. Handle products and materials safely while maintaining attention to detail and product quality. Assist with other production-related duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience as a Butcher, Meat Cutter, or Meat Processing Worker is required. Strong knife skills, including cutting, trimming, and deboning. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Relevant training or certification in butchery or meat processing is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required. Comfortable working in a refrigerated or temperature-controlled environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Work Environment

Full-time position. On-site work in Georgetown, Ontario. Production facility handling various meat products. Safety equipment and company procedures must be followed at all times.
