SCR Mining and Tunnelling is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Construction Miners to join our underground mining operations team at Bissett, Manitoba. There are multiple existing vacancies for this position. Job Type This is a full-time role, on a 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotation Work Location and Arrangements This position is for employment in Bissett, Manitoba. Camp accommodation & meals provided. Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Construction Miner, you will be responsible for the following: Construct, install, maintain, and repair structures within a mining environment Follow daily line-ups, safety procedures, and Manitoba Regulation 212/2011 – Operation of Mines Regulation Support construction projects through reliable equipment maintenance Always be physically and mentally fit for work Follow directives from shift supervisors Qualifications Essential qualifications include: Minimum 3 years of experience as an underground construction miner Trade certification in carpentry is also considered an asset Experience in concrete preparation and placement is preferred Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards Ability to understand and follow instructions Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
