We are currently looking for an AM Lead Hand for our Cambridge terminal.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 4:00am to 12:30pm

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to $52,000, based on experience

You will be required to:

• Lead, coach and train personnel
• Daily AM Dock performance, monitoring and adjustments

. Routing freight, appointment booking and Dispatching

. Operating a Forklift, load/unload trailers and staging freight

. Reduce miss-directs and damages on customer shipments

. Customer shipment audits when required

. Ensure employees follow health & safety guidelines

. Cross train staff to ensure adequate dock coverage daily

. Action on all last-minute shipment requests

. Various other duties, as required

Do you fit the job profile?

• Previous Lead Hand or Supervisory experience in the Transportation Industry is preferred
• Current Forklift Certification is preferred
• Must be able to exercise initiative, multitask and work well as part of a team
• Organized and detail oriented
• Proficient with computer programs/dispatch systems and Microsoft office
