Role Details
Work Location – Brampton preferred Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Hybrid, 3 days in-office Contract duration – 12 months The full base salary range for this position is from $82,800 - $92,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity. About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Director of QHSE, the QHSE Specialist works to ensure the effective operation of the Enact system across five manufacturing plants, communicating operational issues to management, and collaborating with external Application Engineers for prompt resolution. Responsibilities include developing databases and tools for tracking and generating timely reports, maintaining software platforms, and providing essential support for root cause analysis and improvement projects through ad hoc reporting and process mapping.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation, maintenance, and update of all Enact jobs and related information in Master Data. Troubleshoot and resolve Enact issues at the plants. Create & Maintain Recipe Management System in SAP PR1, and validate all recipes prior to release to all manufacturing. Develop and continuously improve Power BI QHSE with Business Intelligence team. Develop & maintain apps in Softools (main application for the integrate management system) Maintain & Improve Controlled Documents system, supporting all plants. Communicate with Commercialization to ensure timely updating of Enact for new products, packages and promotions. Maintain pallet tag updates in SAP as part of Optimum Taste Date Maintenance. Provide support to manufacturing plants to resolve data entry issues with Enact. Generate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and lead the QHSE monthly meeting. Develop and generate reports to support root cause analysis and investigations. Provide communication to the plants with regards to any Manufacturing Instruction (MI) changes and update Formula Master Data form. Provide support for financial control and process & manage all Purchase Orders (POs). Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Scorecard. Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Completed or in final stages of Degree in Computer Science or associated subject preferred. 1-3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role. Experience in QHSE is an asset. Advanced knowledge of IT databases (SQL, Access, ETQ Advantive). Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be detailed focused with excellent time management skills. Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
