At Space Ops, we’re growing rapidly and looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across technical and non-technical functions while partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders to support organizational growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience from first contact through onboarding, ensuring a positive and engaging journey for every candidate.

This is a fully onsite position, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with leaders and employees while helping build a high-performing and engaged workforce.

What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from role intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, team structures, role expectations, and required skill sets.
• Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates across technical and non-technical positions.
• Conduct competency-based and technical candidate assessments where applicable.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Conduct comprehensive reference checks and background verifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions to support campus recruitment, internships, and early-career hiring initiatives.
• Represent Space Ops at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment drives.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines, ATS records, hiring trackers, and recruitment documentation.
• Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, dashboards, and updates for leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and successful new hire experience.
• Support additional HR and people-related initiatives as required.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience, preferably within a technology-focused or high-growth environment.
• Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment across multiple functions.
• Strong experience recruiting for technical and technology-focused roles.
• Understanding of software development, SDLC, cloud technologies, infrastructure, product development, and related technical functions.
• Experience conducting candidate assessments and technical screenings.
• Hands-on experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Experience supporting campus recruitment and university partnerships is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a high level of service.
