As a Maintenance Lead Hand, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' properties are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the Foreman and contributing to the success of our team.
Key responsibilities include: Maintain high-end residential properties to exceptional standards Prune and manicure shrubs, gardens, and outdoor spaces Assist the Foreman in coordinating daily maintenance activities Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and professionally presented Operate landscaping equipment and tools efficiently Provide strong customer service when interacting with clients Work toward meeting and exceeding daily and seasonal targets This posting reflects a current hiring need for our client. We use AI-assisted tools to help review resumes and identify potential candidate matches, however all hiring decisions are made by our team and the client directly. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of landscape maintenance experience, including maintaining high-end residential properties 3+ years of experience operating landscaping equipment and small tools such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers/weed whackers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws 3+ years of pruning experience with shrubs and gardens 1+ year of horticulture experience Valid Ontario G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions English language proficiency Preferred Qualifications: Compensation expectations within $24–$28/hour Experience landscaping for high-end homes Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Safety-focused mindset Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team Horticultural knowledge Experience providing strong customer service Competitive pay of $24–$28/hour, based on experience and skill Year-round employment opportunity (Winter is on call position).
