About the role
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to support with development of business opportunities from new and existing clients.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the company owner, you will have the opportunity to generate sales from potential clients, including home owners, property developers, and general contractors. You will meet with new and existing clients, pitch construction management services, guide customers through the sales process, and maintain strong relationships for repeat business opportunities. This position will have the opportunity to earn commission on revenue generated.
Responsibilities

Proactively generate new sales leads within the local construction industry, with the intention of creating long term relationships with clients

Determine client's construction needs and present potential solutions

Schedule face-to-face site visits, lunches, meetings, with clients

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, ensure client needs are being met and any issues are quickly addressed

Attend industry events and trade shows
-
Support with closing contracts

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth

Support with ensuring sales targets are met
Skills and Requirements
-Must have experience in sales within the construction industry

Ability to visit client offices and warehouse sites all over Calgary (must have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle)

Experience in construction management

Desire to pursue business opportunities and generate new sales

Strong time management and ability to create your own schedule and tasks without much oversight

Strong understanding of construction and how to sell to clients within the construction industry

Ability to create and maintain relationships with key clients

Proficiency with CRM and IT tools

Desire to continue developing as a sales leader in the construction industry
