EFW Radiology is currently seeking an Ultrasound Scheduler to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care!

The Role
The Ultrasound Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and adjusting staffing schedules. Assigned scheduling portfolios will include Technologists and Clinical Support staff as well as reviewing the patient and physician schedule to help ensure appropriate staff and specialties are covered. In addition, the incumbent will track scheduling data for analysis, communicate with staff regarding schedule information, complete sick call schedule adjustments and approve time off requests that fall within approved guidelines.
Reporting to: This position directly reports to the Ultrasound Manager.
Role Overview
Develop and maintain staff schedules for clinical and support staff. Schedule coverage for routine shifts, vacations, and sick leave using Dayforce HCM. Ensure established staffing levels are maintained across locations. Manage sick-call processes and reassign staff to alternate sites as needed. Adjust schedules to meet operational requirements. Create fair and balanced staff rotations. Compare physician and clinical staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. Track and analyze scheduling data to support improvements to master schedules. Communicate scheduling information and coordinate replacement staffing. Review and approve vacation requests according to scheduling protocols. Coordinate specialty training schedules in collaboration with supervisors. Participate in special projects as required.

You Have The Following
Healthcare or clinical scheduling experience is considered an asset. Experience using computerized scheduling systems. 3 to 5 years of customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (required). Superior active listening and interpretation abilities. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to communicate effectively by phone and email. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment in various situations. Flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities.
