Target role — Solution Architect:

Application Solution Architecture Advisor:

• Designs the application and functional layer of the solution architecture
• Aligns the functional and application layer with architecture targets
• Validates compliance with IT/software frameworks (security, infrastructure, platforms)
• Ensures reuse of common services and reusable patterns
• Helps assess costs and optimize solution architecture on 4 quality dimensions
• Directs and supports landing of solution architecture within delivery team

Operations Solution Architecture Advisor:

• Designs the operational layer (infrastructure, networking and security)
• Defines service levels and develops solutions
• Aligns the operational layer with architecture targets

Integration Solution Architecture Advisor:

• Accountable for design of IT solution architectures
• Integrates various layers into a relevant, consistent, economical and sustainable IT solution
• Optimizes on 4 quality dimensions: operations alignment, technical quality, meeting needs, costs/benefits
• Actively monitors new technologies and business approaches
