About the role
Our client, a well-established and recognized company in its industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Finance team. This opportunity is intended for a professional with solid accounting experience and strong leadership skills, enabling them to support a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounts payable activities while ensuring operational efficiency, process compliance, and high-quality service to both internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable department.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy of payments and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure process efficiency.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and external partners.
- Participate in audits and respond to stakeholder information requests.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Support the team in analyzing and resolving complex issues.
- Provide professional and efficient service to internal and external clients.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements
- Degree in accounting or equivalent, with several years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in team management and supervision.
- Bilingualism in French and English required to communicate with English-speaking suppliers (approximately 40% of the time).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
- Experience in a technology-driven and automated environment.

Salary: $90,000+ per year, with excellent bonus potential
