Position: Video Editor

Salary: $624 biweekly
Term: June 2026 to April 2027
About the Position: The Manitoban is the official students’ newspaper of the University of Manitoba. The Video Editor is responsible for creating and editing video content to accompany articles and be displayed online. Regular duties include attending weekly meetings on Monday and Wednesday evenings and producing and editing footage.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate has previous experience in video production and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software. The ideal candidate also has a vision for the section and is familiar with the video content of a student newspaper.

About The Manitoban
The Manitoban has been reporting on University of Manitoba student news since 1914. It is published monthly during the summer and each week of regular classes during the academic year by the Manitoban Newspaper Publications Corporation.
